Department of Journalism: Proposal to require JOUR 5043 (Research Methods) and to recommend that one course from the outside area of study be a theory course (Attachment A);
Department of Music, Master of Music degree (MUSCMM) with concentrations in Choral Conducting, Composition, Instrumental Performance, Instrumental Conducting, Keyboard Performance, Music Theory and Vocal Performance: Proposal to add an alternative class for Methods of Research and change the music history course selection to include a broader range of courses (Attachment B, Attachment C, Attachment D, Attachment E, Attachment F, Attachment G, Attachment H).

M.Ed. degree in Education (EDUCME): Proposal to eliminate the degree (Attachment I and Attachment J);
M.Ed. degree in Elementary Education (ELEDME): Proposal to change the requirement of ESRM 5013 to CIED 5013 (Attachment K);
M.Ed. degree in Special Education: Proposal to offer required course work to enable a student to be eligible for Arkansas teacher licensure in P-4 Special Education (Attachment L, Attachment M, Attachment N).
Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders
M.S. degree in Counseling – College Counseling Concentration (CNSLMS): Proposal to change the name of the concentration to Student Affairs and College Counseling; reduce required hours from 54 to 48; change course requirements by eliminating nine hours and add three hours (Attachment O and Attachment P);
M.S. degree in Counseling – Community Counseling Concentration (CNSLMS): Proposal to change the name of the concentration to Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Attachment Q and AttachmentR)
M.Ed. degree in Workforce Development Education – Vocational Education Concentration (WDEDED): Proposal to eliminate the concentration (Attachment S and Attachment T);
Ed.D. degree in Workforce Development Education: Proposal to change course requirements as described in Section V of Attachment U.
New Business, Proposed Policy Changes: Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, Proposal to modify Graduate School policies for a new US-EU Atlantis Double Degree program in a concentration in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development in the M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics (AGECMS):
Revise English language requirements as described in Section V of Attachment V;
Allow additional transfer credits and international transfer credits, as described in Section V of Attachment V;
Modify residency requirements as described in Section V of Attachment V;
Allow more flexibility in admissions decisions as described in Section V of Attachment V.
New Business, Proposed modification to the Academic Grievance Procedures for GraduateStudents as shown in Attachment W.
