  1. Minutes for the December 18th, 2008, Graduate Council meeting will stand approved if no corrections are received.  (Please review the minutes on the Graduate School web page before the meeting:  http://www.uark.edu/grad).
  2. Announcements
  3. Reports from the Academic Appeals Subcommittee and the Teaching Assistant Effectiveness Committee.
  4. Explanation of the Personal Profile Index, a new part of the GRE test (Lynn Mosesso)
  5. Old Business:  College of Education & Health Professions, Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders, Ed.D. degree in Workforce Development Education (WDEDED): Proposal to revise course work.  Necessary course changes were approved in January by e-mail (Attachment A).
  6. New Business:  None
  7. Clarification of policy on removing graduate faculty status.
  8. Discussion item:  Using only course work taken for the degree to determine grade point average for granting the degree.
  9. Courses having no enrollment for the past three years, to remain inactive (Attachment B) and to be deleted (Attachment C).
  10. Course change report from the University Course and Programs Committee (UCPC)(Attachment D) (Note: Course change proposals can be viewed at http://www2.uark.edu/servlet/ edu.uark.regr.ccf.Main or by going to the website of the Registrar and clicking on “Faculty/Staff” then “Curriculum Change Form,” and then “View Changes Pending Before the University Course and Programs Committee.”)
